Project Overview
Lumiere LHP Photography Club is a club at Lê Hồng Phong High School for the gifted, founded in 2014 with the aim of creating an artistic environment for art-loving students to train and develop their artistic senses.
In this project, I will only mention what I have done for Lumiere during my 2023-2024 generation as a Lead Designer.
I designed a theme for the First-meeting campaign.
The name “ColourOut” for First Meeting signifies “If an object loses its color, we will start and only care about its essence.” For this assignment, I chose to explore “ColourOut” through the imagery of a heat map.
The Heat Map – The “ColourOut”
The reason is that a heat map is entirely dependent on the thermal nature of an object. Regardless of its color, through the lens of the heat map, it only focuses on the specific infrared spectrum, in its own subjective way. I admire this quality; despite being entirely reliant on the object’s essence, it still preserves the vibrancy of “Colour” in the phrase “ColourOut.”
I designed a theme for the Recruitment campaign.
For the 2024 Member Recruitment campaign, I chose the iconic Monopoly board game as the theme. The idea behind this choice is to invite talented individuals to join the game, overcome obstacles, solve puzzles, and reach the finish line – which represents joining Lumiere.
An interesting aspect of this theme is that when the recruitment posts from each department are combined, they form a larger Monopoly board, with three corners representing the three departments and Lumiere as the finish line. This symbolizes that the applicants will play a crucial role in contributing to the bigger picture – the overall Lumiere board.
As a Leader, I’ve learned to be responsible.
I also took the role of a Leader and Mentor for the department’s mini-project on the theme of “Vietnamese proverbs and folk sayings.” The primary goal of this project was to provide hands-on experience and creative skill development for our new Design team members. The secondary objective was to explore and convey traditional Vietnamese cultural elements through innovative and modern art forms.

Lumiere is home and a place to learn any lesson possible
Lumiere is a haven where I can fully unleash my creativity. Here, I’m surrounded by vibrant and talented individuals, each with their own unique strengths and areas for growth. This dynamic environment fosters mutual learning and support, allowing us to overcome our weaknesses and elevate our skills together.
Moreover, Lumiere has blessed me with meaningful connections with mentors and like-minded peers. Through these interactions, I’ve witnessed remarkable progress in both my creative abilities and interpersonal skills.
