My Creative Journey
Empowering Humanity Through Creativity
Before exploring my creative journey, let’s take a look back where it started…
When I was four,
Colors filled my world with wonder.
I discovered the magic of crayons and began painting everything I could see. I loved blending the colors in my mind and bringing them to life on paper for my family to admire.
The joy of creating something beautiful with my own hands fueled my passion, and I dreamed of becoming the Vietnamese Vincent Van Gogh.

By fourteen,
I craved to be Creative.
High school presented new opportunities to use my creativity for a greater purpose. I won first prize in an environmental poster design contest, and that victory ignited my passion for design. I eagerly designed everything for my class, from our class T-shirts and banner to our Tet festival booth.

Now, and forevermore,
I want to use my Creativity to make a positive Impact.
High school ignited my desire to make a positive impact through my art. I yearned to be the unseen force behind beauty, inspiring others with my creations. This led me to seek out communities where I could contribute my creativity, eager to share my passion with the world.

Some of my first steps into Graphic Design :
August 2021
I joined The Solitude Project.
“The Solitude Project” is a mental health project, marking my debut project as a Designer. I start off with Illustation, using Procreate, my old childhood ipad and a stylus pen i bought online.

I joined Sugar Vietnam.
“Sugar Vietnam” is a charitable organization, marked my transformation from Illustration to Graphic Design. At Sugar, beside Illustrating on Procreate, I firstly learned how to design with vectors on Adobe Illustrator, how to use shapes, image and typography more professional.

At Sugar Vietnam, I have a chance to create my first visual guideline.
Sugar Camp – An annual Executive recruitment event.
My first visual guideline that I have ever created – for a special annual event of Sugar Vietnam. These guidelines are crafted around three core principles:
Innovation, Professionalism, and Connection.
The connection is shown through the intersecting primary colors, as if showing the connection and convergence of core people, inviting talented people to come here. On the other hand, the White background and Black typography convey the Innovative and Professional vibe.

A passion of giving back to my community has then started.

Charity ignited my passion for Vietnamese History and Culture.
Traveling to diverse regions and encountering different circumstances instilled in me a deep sense of national pride. I was deeply moved by stories of heroes who sacrificed for our country and the unwavering efforts to protect our homeland. This ignited a profound love for Vietnam, especially after entering high school.
Inspired by this passion, I began creating cultural projects that preserve the beauty of Vietnamese traditions while connecting them to contemporary culture and communities.

I Created and Art-directed a photoshoot about the Vietnamese Water Puppetry.

I attempted to bring this Cultural Creativity into my educational journey…
I used design to make my history assignment more engaging in school.
Drawing inspiration from the long-standing spirit of national identity and democracy of the Vietnamese people, I often use bolder and more vibrant colors to express a sense of strength and unwavering determination.
The red color of the Vietnamese flag is always at the heart of all my works.

And I also used design to express my inner feelings
“THE MESSAGE” Album
“The Message” is a series of paintings that depict the streams of emotions and meanings that often appear in my head. I have brought them out and designed them into works of art.
This album serves as my personal reminder, a guiding light whenever I feel lost. But it’s also messages about living a meaningful life, embracing self-love and extending that love to those around us.

Therefore, I am eager to further my development and make a greater impact.
I do not want to limit myself to mere aesthetics and practicality. I yearn to embrace and apply deeper creative knowledge and thinking that demand greater effort and intellectual rigor. I seek to delve into the essence of design, gain a profound understanding of aesthetics in life, and apply this knowledge to my future work in a meaningful way.
Looking further ahead, I hope to continue spreading messages of humanity, using my creativity to produce works that benefit the community. I dream of carrying the creative spirit of Vietnam to the world, dismantling stereotypes of an underdeveloped nation, because I firmly believe in the immense talent of our Vietnamese people.
