PROJECT OVERVIEW
“Ngăm” was founded by 5 high school students, organizes charity trips for underprivileged elementary school children in Vietnam’s ethnic minority regions.
Aiming to inspire learning and provide material support, Ngăm has impacted over 5 regions, creating playgrounds and delivering supplies in 3.
BRANDING OVERVIEW
Ngăm’s Seasonal Symphony
Ngăm’s branding is a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, rooted in Geometry Block Patterns inspired by Vietnam’s time-honored square patterned tiles. This fusion embraces the rich heritage of East Asian aesthetics while incorporating contemporary geometric patterns, characterized by simplicity, vibrancy, and a modern sensibility.
The true brilliance of Ngăm’s branding lies in its adaptability to the seasons.
With each passing season and each distinct region, Ngăm’s patterns transform to capture the essence of the land, reflecting the diverse beauty of Vietnam’s landscapes.

Inspired by the nature of the people of Binh Thuan – known for their free, open and simple spirit – we created a new visual identity that matches their authentic personality.

COLOURS
Blue and Yellow
Blue as the anchor, evoking the vast expanse of the sea, interwoven with warm yellow and orange tones of the sandy shores. Red accents add a vibrant contrast.
ELEMENTS
Featuring iconic coastal elements such as
fishing boats, Fishermen with conical hats, Bình Thuận dragon fruit, Salt fields, Market baskets, and Fish scales.

Suối Phèn: A Diary of Streamside Memories
Suối Phèn : A Branding Rooted in Stories and Experiences
Before finalizing Ngăm’s branding, we embarked on a field trip to gain a deeper understanding of the lives, stories, and experiences of the children in Suối Phèn.
This immersive journey allowed us to gather invaluable insights that served as the foundation for Suối Phèn’s branding.
The result is a brand identity that authentically reflects the essence of the community and its children.

COLOURS
Green, Cream and Gray
Green, reminiscent of the moss-covered banks of the Suối Phèn stream and the lush greenery of the surrounding hills. Cream and grayish-black, the colors of a cherished diary and pencil notes, hint at a treasured field notebook, conveying a sense of togetherness and nostalgic memories through the pages of a diary.
ELEMENTS
Inspired by the gentle ripples of water droplets on rocks, our design captures a sense of fluidity and interconnectedness. The patterns of this branding are drawn from the images and stories we gathered during our field trip to Suối Phèn, including
stream fish, wildflowers, reeds, wooden houses, hills, and a baby bird from a child.

What have I learned at Ngăm ?
Lessons from the Journey of Giving
My involvement in charity work has been a transformative journey, revealing a profound truth: with each act of giving, we receive far more in return. The tangible gifts we offer – material goods, financial support, time, and effort – pale in comparison to the intangible rewards we reap. These acts of kindness nurture the seeds of goodness within us, fostering a sense of connection, empathy, tolerance, compassion, and kindness towards others.
Through these experiences, I’ve discovered the power of human connection. I’ve learned to empathize with others, to embrace tolerance and compassion, and to extend kindness to all. These lessons have ignited a passion within me, fueling my desire to pursue a creative path. I aspire to harness my creative abilities to generate positive change and make a meaningful impact on the world around me.
